A fun and wonderful group of people love it!
We came, we stayed and never left! Park is under new management and is improving all the time. It is a nice, quiet park with full time residents, winter Texans, summer vacation families, and workers. I have run across very few folks not social. The staff is wonderful and will go out of their way to make you happy. The attitude is "this is your home, we're here for you". They truly do mean that. The indoor pool enables you to swim 365 days a year, the exercise room is unequaled, great community hall with lots of activities. This is home! Come watch us grow!
I spent last winter there and it was great . The whole staff is friendly and helpful. I give them 5 stars. I hate doing this because everyone will want to go there. It is a nice Jem hidden away.
Had a very clean single bedroom cabin. Lots of room for the 3 of us. A queen bed in the back and a queen pullout in the living room area my daughter slept on. Bring your own toiletries, but if you forget, there is a Dollar General about a mile or so away as well as HEB and Wal-Mart. Indoor pool was nice and cool. A/C worked great. Met lots of people who live here permanently as well as temporarily. We would stay here again. The front office was friendly and welcoming. Felt safe as well with a security gate which closes at 6pm.
Hospitable, caring staff. Spacious sites. Plenty of walking area. Lots of pretty natural areas. Close to Rockport Beach. Short ride to Padre Island National Seashore. 30 minutes to Corpus Christi. Great! We'll be back!
