Great park but starting to nickel and dime you. Laundry has gone up 2xs in the past year. And they went up on lots. Also they started charging for credit card transactions.. I mean I realize inflation and so on but all in the last year when they started making repairs?? The repairs don't warrant to extra cost imho.
I live full time at the Bay View RV Resort. I like the amenities. There is a family club house and an adult club house. Both have pools and shower and restrooms. The adult club house has an outdoor kitchen and hot tub. There are north and south laundry rooms and men and women restrooms and showers. The sites are spacious and lots of Oak tree's for shade. There lots of activities during the fall, winter, and spring months for adults. Kids can swim in the heated pool during those months. The is a playground for the kids as well. It is located close to some of the best fishing and boating in Texas. I've never met anyone nicer than the folks that stay at BayView RV Resort. There is a happy hour at 4:00pm every day. Host by folk's at different site's throughout the week. Come enjoy paradise on the Texas Gulf Coast at BayView RV Resort. Your home away from home, or even your full time home if you'd like. A pleasant place, still ravaged by Harvey, but recovering. Most storm - damaged trailers have been removed. Water, electric, sewer and cable have been restored. Roads are clear. Many scenic views are barricaded by walls of tree rubble. Some sites still contain much litter. The family pool is damaged. The family clubhouse needs roof and interior work. The main office is temporarily at the adult clubhouse.
My husband and I were in the area for work and we chose this place based on reviews. After arriving the park was not anything like it looked in the pictures. The roads are awful and most of the sites were trashy. Our site was nice enough but a few weeks after staying my husband and I found out they have two registered sex offenders living full time in their park. We didn't feel this was a family/friendly place and decided to move to another park. I felt like others with children should have the heads up before staying here with their families. We would not recommend this place. Their are several perks in the area much nicer with no registered sex offenders that I consider family friendly!
Great friendly staff. Large spaces. Two pools, one heated. Lots of winter activities. Only draw was roads could stand a paving, a lot of dust.
