My husband and I had just arrived in Rockport to visit family when our 18 year old hound had an emergency requiring immediate medical attention. Through the grapevine, we were referred to Dr. Moates, who agreed to see us right away. We rushed over there, and even though she didn't know us from a hole in the wall, she welcomed us and immediately took excellent care of our sweet girl. Although ultimately, it was Abby's time to cross the rainbow bridge, Dr. Moates treated us with such kindness and compassion, and helped us to make our girl's transition as peaceful as possible. Our hearts are breaking, but we couldn't have asked for a better vet to bring us through this tough time. Thank you, Dr. Moates for everything.
