Shrimp was kind of mushy. Either overcooked or reheated. Very reasonable and fun with good service. A large pot including spicy potatoes corn sausage crab and shrimp is dumped on table in paper. Unique dining. We will visit again probably with company
Was a great restaurant. So many great memories here (shared by my family members who live in Texas). Now a huge hurricane is possibly flattening this place. I'm in Florida so I don't get to eat here anymore. Christmas 2016 was my 1st time here and possibly my last. You can correct me if the place is just fine after the hurricane. Also the food was/is really good and this place is cool since they dump your order on the table and you have to wear those thing babies wear when they are eating. (I forgot what they were called)
I used to love this place. We go every year on our vacation but this time was the worst. I usually never complain about service... When we sat down we didn't get our drink order for 15min. The table sat after us got their order taken asap. I blew that off at 1st. Then we weren't asked if we needed the bib at all. And my kids didn't get any colors .Again I let it go. Then our server kept checking the table next to us and only checked on us twice. I had to ask other servers for refills, 3 times to be exact(no lie!) At that point I was getting ticked off. When we were done we waited for a while. Then I had to get up and ask the host to ask the waiter for the lemon water and the check.... The only good part was the host when we got there. She was very sweet and did her best to get us a table asap.
1/2 of king crab legs were $28! I had to ask for my beer bc it wasn't stocked in their bin of iced beers. Food was good though.
Pretty much all-round good food. The crab I'd great and hot, and the shrimp is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for this type of place; Cajun and cozy.
