No services offered. After traveling 200 miles and confirming with them ahead that they do boarding and daycare, once I arrived they said they are not taking dogs do to some virus that is present in area. It would have been nice to know that when I talked to them on the phone yesterday! Day plans ruined. I had shot records and everything.
Tuffy has been going to Salty Dog for 4 years now. Sarah and her crew are the best ever. I don't trust anyone else with my baby.
My dogs loved their time here. When I picked them up they wanted to stay. You can easily see they were pampered, & spoiled. My dogs run & play at home w/ a big back yard surrounded with woods, deer, armadilloes... & lots of love so they're usually very happy, but to be as happy as they were at Salty Dog they had to of received a lot of attention, love, & care while they were there. I'll make sure they get to come back. It's worth our 2 hr drive to get there to see they're this well taken care of when they have to be left with someone else. Infact! I'll be taking them there again tomorrow so I can explore the USS Lexington w/ peace of mind these dogs are in great hands.
