Great place to stay, spots are tight epically for big rvs, has nice fishing pier lighted but many lights are out on it at night. Rates are fair and very clean place to stay, nice and quiet no problems with staff would definitely recommend and will stay there again.
The staff and location are amazing.
This is a great place to stay, but we stayed several times in the past 2 years, but we had our cooler stolen from underneath our rv and spoke with several sites and there were several things stolen from different campers. We liked it with one way in and one way out, but they do have a back gate and it should be closed at night but never was when we stayed there. Have spoken to several friends that have stayed there and it seems that the theft has gotten worse. I would go back but the security and parking needs to improve at least 100%
It was truly a shame that our very first trip with our new Cougar 5th Wheel began with bang and a fizzle at the Blue Lagoon RV Resort. This man who I would refer to as the Park Nazi on a Golf Cart greeted me in front of our trailer by questioning me about why we were parking in an empty slot. Well the reason we were parking in an empty slot was we were moving our truck because I had just arrived. The Park Nazi attitude became worse when we tried to explain to him what we were doing and the situation escalated when my husband told him not to worry we would be out of there shortly. When I told him that his attitude needed an improvement he told us that how long where we going to be there. He also told us not to ever come back. Well we don’t ever plan on coming back. The park itself is not truly what I would call a resort. The parking is abysmal; the upkeep on the place could really stand some improvement. We paid an additional $90 dollars to park an additional vehicle. The Wi-Fi was non existent or if there was internet they did not tell us about a pass word. I would never tell anyone to ever go to the Blue Lagoon. There are many other places more eager to offer the amenities of their RV resort. BTW, the Park Nazi did eventually come by and offer an apology. My question is what was his motivation and if he represents Blue Lagoon he truly does it poorly.
We are here for a week to visit with relatives who are also here, and it's been so much fun getting the tour! They are from around here but I am not, so it's been amazing seeing the sights. We were planning to move on to FL and stay a couple weeks until our appt at Lazydays in May but decided to stay here instead. It's a great place, clean, friendly and I see why folks come back time after time.
