Overcharged me $9.99 plus tax when I Went to the counter to place lumber and concrete order. Clerk wanted to sell me a 9 volt battery. I Explained I Have no / nada use for a 9 volt battery. She persisted 9 ways to Sunday thinking it was cute. Even disclosing she and peer were having a competition. Like I care. Anyway I discovered she screwed up order when I went to load. So I had to go back in and straighten it out. She was having a blast. Still eibg a clown. Im a pro. I have 3 guys waiting for the boss to show back. Silly. Disrespectful. Put it together and its just stupid and you can't fix that.
I have been frequenting this Ace for quite sometime. The owner is an amazing man. I went in yesterday, October 17, to buy a bench vise and air compressor. I have never been so disrespected by an employee in my life. I had been working on a boat all day and was greasy. I was stopped when I walked in by a young brunette cashier and asked if I needed help. I said no thank you, I know where everything is. It turned out I could not find another item I wanted to purchase, so I went back to her and asked where it would be. The answer I got left me flabbergasted. She rolled her eyes and said i'm busy. She was not doing anything besides talking to other employees. She then turned and said besides, you said you know where everything is so i'm sure you will be fine. I asked to speak with a manager and was told she was sure I could find one of them as well. The employee she was talking to said stop it Rebecca or something similar. He said I would love to help you, but by that time I had it. I will never step foot in that place. As I was leaving she told the male employee, it isn't like this is an important job where I need to deal with assholes, laughed and said to me loudly, have a great day. I will be taking my business elsewhere and letting all my associates know that the kids run the place and obviously management does not care. I called later to have the phone answered by the same girl. I asked to speak with a manager and was told none were available and a quick goodbye and hang up. I will be writing a letter to the owner, as well as leaving a review on yelp, Facebook, and anywhere else you can.
They sold me a craftsman power washer and it failed within 3 weeks of usage and they wont give me a warranty replacement i have to go through craftsman if i had bought it through sears there would have been no questions asked ace should stand behind their products
Worst customer service experience ever. Trying to return a defective framing nailer and the owner accused me of using him as a rental center, and he was tired of getting screwed by people like me. I am a contractor and this is a tool for my business. It can not run without the tool. All I wanted was a tool that operated as represented when purchased. The attitudes were so bad, I want nothing but my money back. I would rate 0 star if it were possible.
