We liked this place before the remodel....and even more after they were done. The service is always good and we love their breakfast.
Love coming here when we're in town! They never let us down! Food is sooo delicious and the customer service is amazing! Very dog friendly as well.
This is a nice little diner with inside seating and outside seating on the deck. They have great food, and the service is really good. They offer sweet sourdough instead of toast or biscuits for breakfast or instead of the bun on burgers and sandwiches. Their sweet sourdough is out of this world. For breakfast, make sure to come early as JJs is popular with both locals and tourists. You can also order food to go. The chicken salad or sandwiches, burgers, and breakfasts are really good. They also have fans on the deck that are great in the hot Texas summer months.
I have been a patron of JJ's since late summer of 2014. I have never in my adult life had the comfort of atmosphere or pleasure of service from the waitstaff and the food has always been fabulous. If I ever move away from the Rockport area I will at any time that life allows me back to the area for business or for pleasure I will be sure to venture into JJ's for a visit to the staff and to especially enjoy a tall tower of the most fantastic buttermilk pancakes that bring me back to my own dear old mom's homemade buttermilk pancakes. JJ's is a place where a person and a guest can still go and enjoy a wonderful homemade quality breakfast for under $30
